It's been quite some time since our last update, and quite a bit has happened. But, most notably, we put on "This Is Not Art 2" at the 32nd and Urban Gallery here in Chicago's south side. Aside from a nasty night of sleet and ice, the opening reception went really well. Thanks to everyone who made it out. If you haven't yet seen it, go check it out. It'll be up intil January 6th.
Here is a blog from the Chicago Reader about the show. Thanks for the kind words Miles!
More importantly, we set up our goods at the Firebelly Design Studio for their 2nd (and I believe now anual) holiday market benefit, which over-all raised $4200 for the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance! Thanks to Dawn and all of the Firebelly staff for putting this wonderful event on.
We also just finished designing and printing Pelican's Australasia special edition (limitted to 1000 copies) double LP. It'll be hitting stores in January. Go to Interloper Records for more details.
Also, some recent good news is that our good friends Allá have finally landed a record deal with world-wide distribution. So, the long-in -the-making CD "Es Tiempo", (which we did all of the artwork for) is finally going to be going into production. Keep an eye on their myspace page for details to come.
There are several new posters in the posters section so go take a look.
Our Burlesque show was a blast! Here is a nice article/reveiw/intereveiw from the show.
