Seriously, the name Delicious started as a joke. Jason called me it one day way back in 2001. So then, for a very brief time, my friends were calling me “Delicious”. Everyone had stupid nicknames back then. Jason would kill me if I told you his.
A couple years later we started a band called the Civilized Age. Me on vocals and posters. By the second poster for the Civ Age I was using “Delicious” as my signature. Partly a joke and partly as a way to get people to remember who designed it. It worked and didn’t work; some people remembered the name but most didn’t get the joke. “What kind of asshole calls himself Delicious?”, was the common reaction.
People liked the posters I did for my band so I started doing posters for other people’s bands. Skip ahead three years and Jason, (the same guy who first called me Delicious), agreed to join my little venture so we could get serious(?). And now here we are, Delicious Design League.

Delicious Design League’s charter members, as of today, are Billy Baumann and Jason Teegarden-Downs. Unfortunately, we are not accepting any applications for future members. However, if you are one of our friends, wife, friend’s girlfriend, friend’s girlfriend’s friend or distant relative we may use you to our own ends without restitution, (thanks).
